Target Audience
  • 20 women 18 to 45 years old, divided as 60% Syrian and 40% in between Lebanese and Palestinians.
  • 10 children 13 to 17 years old, divided as 60% Syrian and 40% in between Lebanese and Palestinians.
  • 200 community members taking part in the community awareness event.
  • 20 women 18 to 45 years old taking part in the knowledge exchange sessions with 4 women from the previous digital empowerment project.
  • 4 women-led businesses. (20 = 5 ind. Per business)
Overall Objective

To enhance women's empowerment, build children’s capacity on digital literacy in Saida Taamir, Lebanon, while advocating for digital literacy on a community level, thereby contributing to the overall well-being and economic growth of the community.

Specific Objective
  1. 20 women from Taamir area shall undertake a Women Digital Empowerment program, enabling them to actively participate in the digital economy and up-scale their income-generating ideas.
  2. 10 children from Taamir area shall undertake “Introduction to digital literacy” concepts. Children are growing up surrounded by technology, so it's essential to start building their digital skills from a young age.
  3. 240 individuals in the Saida Taamir community will have increased awareness and understanding of the importance of digital literacy to reduce the digital gender divide and foster a digitally inclusive environment.
