Target Areas

Gemmayzeh, Geitawi and Karantina in Beirut, Lebanon

Target Audience
  • 200 vulnerable people affected by the explosion (40 families, average of 5 people each)
  • 10 technicians from the “Cash for Work” programme
  • 40 DPNA volunteers
Overall Objective

Provide a response to the basic needs of the vulnerable families affected by the blast in Beirut, in the districts of Gemmayzeh, Karantina and Geitawi neighbourhoods.

Specific Objective
  1.  Allow the targeted families to return home safely and with dignity.
  2.  Provide food aid to the targeted families.
Achievements

A total of 44 households were rehabilitated and 40 food parcels were distributed.
